Description: Pencil sketches produced by the donor's father Alfred Schwarzchild whilst interned on the Isle of Man, 1940 (he was a professional artist, forced to flee Germany by the Nazis). Group of sketches on lined exercise paper. Main image on one side shows men exercising in front of camp watch tower. Images on reverse show a man writing and some sort of religious or political meeting.
