Date made: c.1941
Description: Silk square painted by donor's mother Jeanette Kitzler whilst interned at Rushen Camp during Second World War. She was a Jewish refugee born 1905 in Vienna, she arrived in Britain in 1938. The silk shows a palm tree, seagull, Manx cat and initials J.K. (unfinished edges)
