HMS Racehorse ramrod holder
Date made: Built 1806
Description: Cylindrical, hollow with pierced hole off centre, with broken suspension loops either end and one end complete. This was originally fixed to the underside of the barrel of a musket, to hold the rod used to push the musket balls down the barrel.
