Notes: Includes article from Mona's Herald of August 29, 1855 which gives a brief history of the movement for erecting a breakwater at Port Erin to create a secure harbour, this quotes from a report by Captain Veitch of the Admiralty. His plans for Port Erin harbour were recommended for adoption by Tynwald Court in March 1857. Another copy at M 25794. In Port Erin dismantled scrapbook.
