Notes: Larrat was an 18B detainee in Peveril Internment camp during c.1940-1943. This book recounts his experiences: Chapter 1. In Walton Goal, Liverpool; chapter 2 Ascot; Latchmere House, Ham Common; Chapter 3 Peveril camp M Peel which details the 'riot' and its aftermath. Chapter 4 Brixton Prison. He was eventually released after three years in June 1943. He comments on camp daily life and the perceived injustice of detention and mentions the land reclamation scheme at Glen Lough and use of internee labour.
