My brother Keith Burbidge can remember the visit of George 6th, he was 3 and half and was with our mother Lillian Burbidge nee Christian and auntie Mona Christian. Our father was in the RAF in West Africa. Keith spent a lot of his early years with his grandmother at Foxdale.
