Scope & Content: A manuscript letter from the Home Secretary, Lord Sidmouth, acknowledging receipt of the Duke of Atholl's own, dated 15 May, accompanied by the first report submitted by the committee established on the Isle of Man to consider new Acts and alterations to existing laws, and Bills mentioned in the said report; Lord Sidmouth informs His Grace that the Bills will be presented to the Prince Regent in Council; he also observes that it might have been more proper for the Lieutenant Governor to have transmitted the aforesaid documents, given that the Duke is currently absent from the island.
