Scope & Content: The note mentions that the butter-box given to the Museum had been wrongly labelled as a fisherman's butter box when it was actually taken up the mountain and kept there during the spring and summer and used for keeping butter protected from flies and the dogs when shearing sheep or getting turf. Also mentions snuff boxes and sheep ear marks.
