Scope & Content: The twelve conversations form part of the sound recorded corpus of native Manx Gaelic speech made on wax discs and tape between 1947 and 1972 and are presented here both in IPA phonetic script and Standard Manx Orthography for the first time. English translations follow the Manx transcriptions and the editorial policy on how information is presented is set out in the introductory comments. Manx speakers are Ned Maddrell, Tommy Leece, John Kneen, John Tom Kaighin, Harry Boyde and Mrs Sage Kinvig. Typescript.
