Description: Ramsey Bignall Moore (1880-1969) was admitted to the Manx Bar in 1902 and went on to become Attorney General from 1921 until his retirement in 1945. Between 1921 and 1956 he served as acting Deemster on several occasions.
Ramsey Bignall Moore was known as a Manx patriot and superb orator. He was a Trustee of the Manx Museum and National Trust from 1922 until his death and was also Chairman of the Trustees from 1952 to 1962. He was awarded the O.B.E. for his services to the Trust.
