Biography: Junior – Norton
Age 31, Robert Polak is a trials engineer and comes from Horsham, Sussex. He has had four years' experience of short circuit racing in the south of England, doing the usual round – Brands Hatch, Crystal Palace, Thruxton, etc. He has had no particular successes, but has had a lot of pleasure being able to “have a go.”
He rode in the 1958 350 c.c. Snaefell race and finished 42nd, but in last year’s Senior Manx race he retired with a split petrol tank at Laurel Bank.
Hobbies: Photography, walking, climbing and music – “when I’ve got time.”
