Biography: Age 31, Eric Cheers is an engineer from Dodlestone, Cheshire. He first rode in the TT in 1955, after Clubman's and MGP experience. He was eighth on a Triumph, in the 1954 Senior Clubman's, 25th in the Junior Manx and 17th in the Senior on his Junior BSA Eric has won awards in local trials, and had ridden at Rhydymwyn, Altcar, Alton Towers, Warminster and on the Ards Circuit in Northern Ireland; in 1952 he was Cheshire Sand Champion. In 1955 he was 1000 cc winner at the Wallasey sand race meeting. He was 35th in the Junior TT, winning a bronze replica. He retired on the second lap of the 1956 Junior TT and did not ride in it last year. He is entered for both this year's races by Victor Horsman Ltd. Hobby: "Making ends meet!"

Eric has won awards in local trials and has ridden at Rhydymwyn, Altcar, Alton Towers, Warminster and on the Ards Circuit in Northern Ireland. In 1952 he was Cheshire Sand Champion. Last year he was 1,000 c.c. winner at the Wallascy sand race meeting. He was 35th in the Junior T.T. winning a Bronze Replica.
