Description: Hydrometer for testing spirits.
Hydrometer owned in 1790 by Mrs Jane Robinson who appears on the 1841 census as a Publican, with son Henry, on King Street, Douglas. She appears on the 1851 Census as a publican at 2, Society Lane, Douglas. Jane was the mother of John and Henry Robinson, who designed and built the Douglas Court House, in 1841.
